Called When software causes damage the article points out that since all software has errors determining liability can be a challenge for a lawyer. Marshall examines the software life cycle and the points in the cycle where damages are easiest of prove and concludes critical and expert software should be held to a higher standard than entertainment packages or general purpose tools.
